For nearly 60 years, Maselli Construction, located in Fairlawn, Ohio, has carried on a tradition of quality residential construction in the Summit County and great Akron  area. Tom Maselli founded the company in 1947. Tom's sons, Tim and Rick  incorporated the company in 1992, and Tim owns and operates the company today. The company specializes in kitchen and bath remodeling, room additions and all facets of home remodeling.

Custom Cut Stone

    No matter what you choose to call this stone, the result is the same. Worn down over millions of years, the edges of these stone have become rounded and smooth. Seen naturally in creek or river beds, our stones are hand picked from gravel pits. Chosen for their size, shape and color, each stone possesses a quality that our pickers have deemed to be "special". Once sorted and washed the stones are then cut with a diamond saw blade to produce our Cut Stone.

The stone I had installed on my fireplace face was a bolder type that looks great. I had a template built of the mantle shape and then had the stone cut to fit around the template. After the stone was installe the mantle fit right into the opening. Very custom looking!
